I am going through a lawsuit from an individual that started a fight with me in my club over 2 years ago. He filed his suit less than 2 wks. before the two years statute expired. he was going through another lawsuit and waited until it was almost over before filing one against me. He currently has another suit going also and my attorney has been trying over and over again to get a deposition from him. he has yet to contact my attorney as to said deposition. I have told my attorney that i want this suit to go trial by jury. As I have many witness' that saw him punch me in the face,breaking my glasses by the blow. I defended myself and took him to the floor. And at that point the fight was broken up by two of my doormen. While he was being escorted to the door he broke free and attacked me once again. Again I defended myself and put him through one of the two doors leading outside. we were seperated again and he was then escorted outside. while outside he tried to come back in again. The doormand and barmaid then told him to leave because we were going to call the police. As he walked away he turned around and stated to them "I just got me a bar". I have been informed by many peaople as well as attorneys that he has sued several people over the years for various incedents. I could not even retain an attorney here in town because most all have either represented him in the past or other reasons. To me this guy is a pro at lawsuit abuse and he needs to be exposed as such. So I hope that we can go to a trial by jury and present our side of the incedent to the court. Regards,Enoch E. Let there be a court ordered inquiry regarding the way the State Bar has operated when Bar complaints have been filed and the public will learn the truth about the status of ethical and professional conduct there whilch is naturally touted as being exemplary. The problem with the Commission is that lawyers prevail. It will be against their self-interests to conclude that major overhauls are needed including those for the State Bar. For individuals who contend that self-regulation of the State's legal profession works, please cite valid documentation and not expect citizens too make up their minds based solely on anecdotal information being metered out.
